Meet the Cast

Snow Ghost introduces Benjamin, one of many snow ghosts, who has set out to recapture his glow. Along the way, Benjamin encounters a herd of cows, Hope the horse, a pesky magpie, and Leo the lab.

The Setting

The core of Snow Ghost takes place in Paradise Valley, Montana. Inspired by the beauty of this location, Kyle Steiner devised his story on a single drive while exploring the expansive land outside of Livingston. Kyle worked with illustrator Yulian Mulyono to bring real-life locations to the pages of this book, Pine Creek Lodge being the most realized.

Living in Bozeman, Montana, at the time, Kyle added in scenes of his hometown, like Downtown Bozeman and the holiday lights that hang over Main Street and the slopes of local ski hill, Bridger Bowl.
